Mr Naeem Siddiqi

Mr Naeem Siddiqi is an Agricultural Engineer, SEO Arabic Specialist at the digital marketing field. In "2003" he received his B.Sc. (honours) in Agriculture Engineering, from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Khartoum. In "2018" he completed a Lean production course offered by the Technical University of Munich TUMX, through edX. After an eleven-year career as Fleet Maintenance Workshop Manager, Spare Parts Manager, Maintenance Engineer, and SEO Arabic specialist, his main achievements included the training of labours on repairing used spare parts instead of replacing them and cutting costs by replacing expensive spare parts with alternative parts with the same quality. Building capacities of labours through regular workshops and seminars, and management of resources towards efficient use of time and expenditure. He is currently working on his Master dissertation on Lean Management at the University of Cape Town UCT. His research focuses on creating a continuous improvement culture in the South African automotive component organization.

Mr. Denis Nsubuga

UGANDA

Mr. Denis Nsubuga is currently a Ph.D. student in the department of Agricultural and Bio-systems Engineering, at Makerere University in Kampala, Uganda. His research work is centered on the Production and Life cycle assessment of jackfruit waste-based digestate as a fertilizer and biochar as CO2 sink. Mr. Nsubuga is the District Agricultural Engineer for the Buvuma District of Government in Uganda where he is responsible for promoting Agricultural Engineering technologies. He is supervising the construction of a 15-acres solar powered irrigation system which is funded by the Ministry of Water and Environment of Government of Uganda.

Ms. Fortunate Kemigyish

Ms. Fortunate Kemigyish is a graduate of a Bachelors’ degree of Science in Agricultural Engineering of Makerere University, in Kampala, Uganda. She currently works at Vala Associates Ltd. and successfully accomplished tasks on water projects, commissioned by the Ministry of Water and Environment of the Republic of Uganda, which included the designing of the drainage channel systems, Water Resources Assessment for Rivers such as R. Lukulu in Zambia and R. Isya in Uganda and designing valley tanks to be constructed in Amolatar, Yumbe and Madi-Okollo districts of the Northern region of Uganda.
